I first got into mapping for Firearms, a mod for HL . Though I never really completed any maps for that mod, it was good practice. I than started mapping again for another HL2 mods called Battlegrounds 2, and actually had a map up on our server we had there. It was a popular map, and many people wanted to play in it when they were in our server. It was nothing special, just a simple little map, but fun. Then came Fistful of Frags, and the update to the TF2 Orange Box engine . Now our server has moved over to that mod, and I now make maps for it .
Most maps made for our server will be based on towns in Stephen Kings "The Dark Tower" series, or at least the ones I find fitting enough. All maps that I make based on towns from those books will remain property of Clan Ka-Tet, and will only be played on our server, but if you LIKE what you see of what I am making, no need to worry, there will be some made for any and all server wanting to run the map.
